The Delphi Effect

The Delphi Effect by Rysa Walker

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this book, we follow the story of a seventeen year old girl named Anna, she is not a "normal" teen however, she can "pick up" ghosts which then reside in her head until their are at peace and can finally move on, seems pretty easy right? just a little favor and they are free, but what happens when Molly a ghost who was violently murdered can't move on without saying goodbye and putting her killer behind bars. But everything comes crashing down as Anna discovers that there is a lot more to Molly murder, putting her loved ones and her own life at risk to solve this murder.

The story is pretty captivating, loved the writing, the characters are very developed, the pacing is a little slow and the start but then its picked up to create and amazing book! Loved it! Looking forward to reading the sequel.

The Golden Amazon

The Golden Amazon (The Original Golden Amazon Saga Book 1) by [Fearn, John Russell]
The Golden Amazon by John Russell Fearn

My rating: 4/5 starts

Science to stop wars and save the world? Bring it on!

Violet Ray Brant is a woman with immense strength, a very smart mind and incapacitated of  feeling love. She is the result of an experiment made by a scientist that thought that a human like her could save the world, stop the wars, bring hope to the human race, but with so much power and no feelings, Violet who could have been humanity's best ally could just as easily turn into its greatest enemy.

This book started really good, the plot and the writing were excellent, but after the character Violet was developed well enough it was a little too predictable what she would do next, it had some twists and the ending was very abrupt without changing the pacing of the book.

Would recommend this book to anyone who likes Science Fiction books, this series is also in comics!

Immortal Writers

Immortal Writers by Jill Bowers

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an amazing story with even a more amazing writing! The way the writers are presented and how they interact with their creations is very well done. The plot is about how if you use your imagination and create stories (whether it's a full length book, a short novel or just some ideas scribbled in a napkin) can change everything as the magic in the words turns those stories into reality, and this is exactly what happens to our main character Liz when she writes a fictional story and it crossed from being a product of her imagination to the "Reality Realm", making her and her creations immortal, (and with that making the writers have a big ego, *Shakespeare*). The story is unique, different from all the other books I have read but at the same time carrying some elements from other titles and reality.

This tale has a very captivating plot, it has action, a lot of suspense, the perfect romance and dragon slaying shenanigans!. Loved the ending, (there were some parts worth crying before it, be prepared) it didn't end in a cliffhanger (thank God) but in a perfect way to introduce its sequel, which I'm looking forward to read as soon as it comes out.

Recommend this book to anyone who likes Fantasy/Science Fiction.
