Welcome To Sortilege Falls by Libby Heily

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This book has a bittersweet ending to it. The story has interesting plot points however how it ties altogether and the final pages were quite conflicting and abrupt. After finishing the book I was left with questions that did not allow me to enjoy the conclusion. I will not be reading the rest of the series although they might provide the answers needed to fill in the plot holes.

Cupid's Match by Lauren Palphreyman

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Too fast-paced for my liking, the story towards the end finishes quite abruptly and it does not feel earned. The story and concept are great, especially the mythology twists. However, I would have preferred for the book to be longer, for the ending to be more developed and detailed rather than the rushed one that is present in the book. Great read and would recommend to any YA, paranormal or romance lover. Cannot wait for the next installment on the series.

Amazing story with different sides and quite developed characters. The main focus is where Kade truly belongs (which most can relate to in some way) and her love with Cole. Full of twists and a well-paced plot this book is an easy and enjoyable read. Would love to read the rest of the series!

Order in the Court

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Sadly, this book did not entertain me nearly as much as its predecessor. Some plot points don't add anything to the story, while others get unnecessarily dragged out.

After loving the first book, this one is underwhelming.

As You Wish

As You Wish

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The concept of the story even though its fiction (or at least we don't know it's true yet) it's completely relatable, the not knowing what to do, if you are making the right choice or if you have to make a choice in the first place tied with the focus of the plot to look for the "perfect wish", to not make a decision you will regret, that is what the main character Eldon fears the most.

We as human go through quite similar processes since we all fear to make mistakes, especially life changing ones. We see this present throughout the story in every character, some wish to not tell anyone about their wish, while others have to live with the consequences of what they wished for.

Loved the writing style and amazing plot. This book has very well developed characters, some romance and heartbreakes, action scenes and best of all, a lot of conspiracy theories!

Love and Vandalism

Love and Vandalism

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Completely LOVED this book.

The story, the characters, the secrets, how it all develops it was just too good. One of the best aspects of this book was how the backstory was introduced and how it made everything tie together perfectly.

I am a big fan of lore and backstory details and this story delivered so well in that aspect, and as well how both timelines were present at the same time and was not complicated to follow, instance is Rory's mother, that to me was a shocker (no spoilers).

The romance was presented in a way that even with the characters inner conflicts it did not seem like a problem, or cringey, or the stereotypical "I want to be with you but i can't", and the resolution of the plot was both amazing and heart warming.

Looking forward to read more from this author!

Hacker Exposed

Hacker Exposed (White Hat Security Book 1)

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

The story has a mysterious tone to it, it tells you just enough to know and understand the plot but it leaves you with lots of questions that you just want to keep reading to fit the pieces together, with awesome plot twists and a great cliffhanger.

The only problem I encountered was that this book was too short for all the content it was trying to deliver, so waiting for book two of this series to see how it progresses.

The Delphi Effect

The Delphi Effect by Rysa Walker

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

In this book, we follow the story of a seventeen year old girl named Anna, she is not a "normal" teen however, she can "pick up" ghosts which then reside in her head until their are at peace and can finally move on, seems pretty easy right? just a little favor and they are free, but what happens when Molly a ghost who was violently murdered can't move on without saying goodbye and putting her killer behind bars. But everything comes crashing down as Anna discovers that there is a lot more to Molly murder, putting her loved ones and her own life at risk to solve this murder.

The story is pretty captivating, loved the writing, the characters are very developed, the pacing is a little slow and the start but then its picked up to create and amazing book! Loved it! Looking forward to reading the sequel.

The Golden Amazon

The Golden Amazon (The Original Golden Amazon Saga Book 1) by [Fearn, John Russell]
The Golden Amazon by John Russell Fearn

My rating: 4/5 starts

Science to stop wars and save the world? Bring it on!

Violet Ray Brant is a woman with immense strength, a very smart mind and incapacitated of  feeling love. She is the result of an experiment made by a scientist that thought that a human like her could save the world, stop the wars, bring hope to the human race, but with so much power and no feelings, Violet who could have been humanity's best ally could just as easily turn into its greatest enemy.

This book started really good, the plot and the writing were excellent, but after the character Violet was developed well enough it was a little too predictable what she would do next, it had some twists and the ending was very abrupt without changing the pacing of the book.

Would recommend this book to anyone who likes Science Fiction books, this series is also in comics!

Immortal Writers

Immortal Writers by Jill Bowers

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is an amazing story with even a more amazing writing! The way the writers are presented and how they interact with their creations is very well done. The plot is about how if you use your imagination and create stories (whether it's a full length book, a short novel or just some ideas scribbled in a napkin) can change everything as the magic in the words turns those stories into reality, and this is exactly what happens to our main character Liz when she writes a fictional story and it crossed from being a product of her imagination to the "Reality Realm", making her and her creations immortal, (and with that making the writers have a big ego, *Shakespeare*). The story is unique, different from all the other books I have read but at the same time carrying some elements from other titles and reality.

This tale has a very captivating plot, it has action, a lot of suspense, the perfect romance and dragon slaying shenanigans!. Loved the ending, (there were some parts worth crying before it, be prepared) it didn't end in a cliffhanger (thank God) but in a perfect way to introduce its sequel, which I'm looking forward to read as soon as it comes out.

Recommend this book to anyone who likes Fantasy/Science Fiction.

Save Aether

Save Aether (The Trinity Key Trilogy Book 3)Save Aether by L.M. Fry

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This trilogy is definitely a recommendation for Young Adults and Science fiction/Fantasy readers.

Amazing ending to the Trinity Key Trilogy!!! One of my favorite Sci-Fiction/Fantasy stories, I love the pacing, writing style, characters and story line. In the journey of reading this trilogy I can say that I became attached to the characters and story to a point that I didn't want to read this final book because I didn't want it to end.

I thought the story couldn't get any better until the incredible plot twist surrounding Danu happened, I was shocked, thrilled and anxious to see the ending result and it didn't disappoint. Loved the ending, although it was a little sad it carried meaning, peace and freedom for the Trinity.

Congratulations to the author for making such a wonderful and captivating trilogy that I couldn't stop reading the books until I finished them. Looking forward to read the prequel novella and any other book from this story that might be published in the future (I think there is still hope).
